Not meant to irk anybody, but isn't swapping out the front sprocket
something
you're supposed to be able to do at the trailhead? (15T->14T or vice
versa) Now
it sounds like the dirty truth is coming out

So I should add a 5 ft
breaker
bar, a can o' lube, perhaps an impact wrench, and a torch to my kit?
Mind as
well as the Snap-On guy to follow me around in his truck....

Well, as so many people have noted - the stock shift lever is less than
sturdy. Mine broke at the weld (with no other help than my oversize clown
type feet/boots) - unable to find a non-stock replacement right away, I
bought another one (the weld also looks crappy) - so I was wondering - is
there a good aftermarket shift lever (maybe one of those one piece jobs) or
any particular brand anyone would reccommend?
