sorry for not having reply earlier, but I was at home with some hilliness.
the problem (fortunately) didn't happened to me.
in any case if the oil came out from the fixed (not movable) rivets, I
suppose that the only thing to do is to substitute the rivets (even if
because the tools that fix the rivets nowadays is more efficacy that the
tool of fifty years ago, surely.
in any case it depend from how much oil came out....

for a more technical answer I suppose you had better to send the message to
the 'list', but the solutions are these two. substitute or not !
I think that external silicone/coolant are not a solution.
