Sounds like what you need is a Land Rover. Contact me off list and
maybe we can work out a trade for that old TC that leaks and grinds
and can't eat salt.

Dear Mr Badger,
You can graft leaky bits from Mr Whitetait's Land Rover on to your TC and
send me the front suspention from your TC so i can finally Drive my TC.(my
car is missing it's entire front end)
On a more serious note,maybe you can adopt a chassis lubrication system such
as found on pre war Rovers etc. for your purpose.
