OK - mystery of the brass plate solved

===From Mark McCombs:

Jim-
I am sure you will get lots of more knowledgeable response, but here goes
mine:
this body plate goes on the passenger side inner side rail- the vertical
piece of wood ahead of the passenger door, about midway down. It was
fastened with brass nails. If you look, Ill bet you find the nail holes. I
think all of the plates for the TC are the same, ie the same body
type/number, so I dont THINK they were unique to serial numbers.
Best,

least for the TA, thats where they were). The plate was screwed to the
main wooden support for the forward end of the scuttle

Hey Guys - whilst this is real commendable - why so QUICK? -

You must all be sitting at the screens waiting! This could be getting
serious!

Why arn't you all out there working on the cars or driving them?
