TC part needed

Post by Bruce J. Obbink » Thu Mar 02, 2000 7:58 pm

Greetings: In the process of putting my TC together, I discovered that I have two of one thing and none of another. The seat rails that attach by hinge to the floorboard require one to be for the left seat and one for the right seat. They are not interchangeable. I happen to have two-left seat rails. I am looking for a right seat rail. The rails that attach to the seat are correct, one is right and one is left. Unfortunately these TC seat system is not as interchangeable as the TD. Anyone have an extra seat rail that attaches to the floorboard for the drivers seat? I think they are making them new at $250 a pop, which is pretty pricey. So thought I would check around and see what is out there? Thanks. Bruce J Obbink

TC Part Needed

Post by SEBRING222@aol.com » Sat Oct 22, 2005 1:06 pm

Group-
I am looking for the box-like part on the driver's side of the scuttle that
the starter pull, choke cable, and slow running cable run through. It is
bolted to the scuttle with 2 bolts and is about 3 and 1/2 inches wide.

Thanks for your help with this.

Why don't you make one yourself?. It's probably one of the easiest parts on
the TC to fabricate.
