All the badge input is being monitored with great interest. As soon as the preliminaries are done and a vendor selection is made (which is focussed on a high quality badge that will stand up to the discriminating tastes of our worthy group - as well as the weather from Tanzania to the North Pole), we will determine 1) quantity to be ordered, 2) the possibility of creating a "collectible" first run that is distinguished from subsequent orders, 3) the possibility of numbering each badge, 4) retaining whatever tooling is required, 5) overrun size, etc. All of the ideas are great. Jim is going to be collecting the $, I will prepare the finished art as soon as I get a good technical handle on the possibilities available to us via the process selected, etc. It won't happen overnight because we want to move very carefully and thoughtfully, so please be patient. Please continue to send in your thoughts, and if you'd rather not clutter the list with comment, just send them to Jim Shade or to me with a copy to the other. Austin

Thank you Austin, a task well done.
Also my appreciation to all the others who have contributed to the
project.
Guess I will need to get a couple of longer badge bars!

Jim, Walter and I are making some progress on obtaining more badges for the group. We expect they will be of the same quality as the original run, using the original artwork and process. As we obtain more information (price, delivery, etc.), we will keep you posted. Please do not respond (on or off list) until all of the details are announced.
