BRAKES!!!!!! and other ideas from fertile...febrile...minds!

Post by 1939mgtb » Sun Sep 25, 2005 8:49 pm

It would be pretty simple to do.
Use a small adaptor that would bolt to the front spindle, bolt up the MGB
front caliper, using spacing to make sure it centers on the disc. Drill the
disk to fit the hub holes, and use a vacuum power brake assist to work it.
You might have to bore the M/C, since the caliper uses more volume of fluid.
Voila!!!!!!!
Then you can put in some Recaro seats, and a micro-wave in the back.
You might want to fit a one-wire high output alternator, and change the
tacho to electronic innards so it would work.
Dump in a five speeder, and a small block Chevy, too!
The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!
Best,
Ray

Wouldn't it be easier just to put an MG grille on Boyd Coddington roadster?

Why not just make sure everything is in top shape brake wise. Then if ya
want to toss a heap of money to upgrade the brakes of a car that will only do 85
MPH go for it!

Maybe a better way of looking at this is as something that
has been modified with a body accessory that resembles
an MG !!!
