My rear right road spring has lost its set, so that the car is not on an
even keel when unloaded. Has any one had success (economical and mechanical)
in having the road springs reset instead of replacing them? Both should be
treated at the same time. Front sperings are good and straight when loaded.
To what ratings should they be reset?
I have not had them off the car, or partially disassembled, and do not (yet)
know how worn they may be. What should I look out for?

Re: Road springs
I can't comment on resetting versus new but the spring
details are all in blower.

Re: Road springs
G'day Robin and Ian,
FWIW fit new springs.
Over the years I've had several sets supposedly reset, using several
different spring specialists..... result: lots of disappointment.
And as it turned out the cost difference between buying new to repair
was not that much.
Regards
Jeff

Re: Road springs
And - like shock absorbers - fit a pair new together, from the same
manufacturer, on the axle.
