TB body

I am reconstructing TB-0317 which I bought as a basket case, and I am obsessed with originality. In assembling the body it is noted that the running boards are of different lengths. The question arises, what is the accepted length measured on the top centerline front to back and what is the accepted gap between the back of the running board and the front of the rear fender. From the photos in Sherrell it appears that the gap is about 1/2 to 5/8 in. Also is the back of the running board parallel to the front of the rear fender. Note: this is a TB which I believe is different than a TC. Any information from originality obsessed members will be appreciated Henry Gurley New York City TB-0317
