Toe In?

Post by 49MGTC » Sat Jul 16, 2005 3:00 pm

Hello All; As many of you know I reversed the axel on my car when I first got it. That helped the steering immensely. It still seems to wander a bit when breaking. I know the cast and camber are very close. There is no excessive play anywhere. I have a Tompkins kit and it is adjusted very close. Today I discovered that I have 3/4 of an inch TOE IN! I had suspected the way it wandered when braking that I had either 0 or negative TOE IN. Could this be the problem anyway? I had thought that @1/4 inch would be about right. Looking for advice here from anyone with experience. Thanks Bud Silvers Black Forest, Colorado TC 8192 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
