With this information in hand I will make the trip to see the car & confirm the Chassis # 7082 on the front left dumb iron. I am in the process of buying another TC which is located in another country & apparently the current owner (inherited the car) says that the registration (1972) shows the VIN# as being the engine #. She has no interest in trying to locate the chassis # on the front dumb iron & the ID plate is missing. Chances are the engine could be a replacement from another TC but she swears it is the original. I have checked all of the TC registries online searching for the 7974 engine # but no luck, can anyone help me with this? Any help would be appreciated! Best Regards, Ron Zeraldo TC5911
