Good evening MGers
Just about to put new head studs into the block. Am I correct in assuming the stud end with the greater depth of thread goes into the block?

No you are wrong, longer thread on top to accept the head nuts. If you have the short end up, the nut may run out of thread and not make contact with the head for full pressure. . Bob, Canada [b]From:[/b]
