Carburetor overflow pipes.

Post by Robin Montgomery » Sat Sep 30, 2017 8:43 am

Can anyone give me the details of where to run the carburetor overflow pipes on a late TC? None of the pictures which I have found give sufficient detail. Do they pass in front of the engine bearer? Where is the clip (for the two pipes) secured?

It would be a bonus if you can tell me the length of each pipe.

Regards

Robin,

Mine go down to the front engine mounting bolt and are held by a metal clip. Have a look at my blog for August or September and there may be a picture

I can't give the pipe measurement My carbs have oldest short pipe strongly welded and I have prefered connect it by a plastic connection but from photo you can see the clip at the front over the engine support bar.it continue right to the sump attach- and are then gently curved to the rear
