Over the years the TCOC have refined & simplified our judging method
so that the Concours Day has ceased to become an ardous task.
Judging is broken down to 5 basic sections which are further subdivided, [Maximum 100 points]
All subsections are judged out of 10 points
from 1-2 poor, 3-4 fair, 5-6 good, 7-8 very good, 9-10 excellent
A weighting factor is assigned to subsections which sorts out the
importance of the various subsections
We assign 2 judges per section [10 judges]
This way the everyone gets to judge.
Pair up an Expert with a not so expert and everyone
gets to learn more about the cars
I remember the dreadful days as a single judge spending 6 hours climbing
over and under cars.
This way you can judge a section in 3/4 hour & the get back to
drinking and enjoying the Concours Day festivities.
Which is what it should be, FUN.
If anyone is interested in a copy of the 2 sheets I can email it
as a MSWord document
The 2 sheets can be reduced to a single A5 size sheet
Regards to all
