Does converting a stock TC engine to straight-through (no muffler) pipe
cause any potential problems over near and long-term use? Such matters as
performance, tuning, etc., etc. Yes, I know it will be noisy. Any warnings I
should heed? Thanks, Bill Andersen

Re: Straight-through pipe
Bill,
Long term use of straight-pipe exhaust will cause
TINNITUS, a ringing of the ear. As far as your TC's
engine is concerened, as long as the pipe dia. and
length remain stock, you should have plenty of back
pressure needed.
