Gap on Points and spark plugs question?

Greetings All, I am at last getting some work started on my little car but I need to ask some of you expert's for your sage advice. I have a question about what the gap setting (points) should be on my 1948 MG TC ? (.017 -.022 ?) I am also my wondering what the correct spark plug gap should be? (.030?)
