"Actually I think you'll find that George Tuck was more than merely 'The Factory Photographer". He was in fact Publicity Manager for MG". I can add to this thread. Sue Tuck was the daughter of 'Pop' Propert, General Manager at MG Car Co for almost twenty years, associated with MG since the Bainton Road days, retiring in July 1949, being succeeded by a Riley man, Jack Tatlow. I am told that it is Sue who appears with George in the photo on page 132, MG by McComb ( 1978 ed ) and no she's not wearing 'the dress'. Last I heard they were living in retirement in the Cape, South Africa. Regards Paul Gale TC 7237 Perth, WA

Thanks PG...some new info. do like the dress BTW...guess the Tucks would find this amusing. GT must have taken many pics. on the same day in 39...(the dress) actually has been called a "keen amateur photographer"...think he did better than that. JGBIV

G'day Paul. News from a mutual friend just a little while back is that sadly George Tuck passed away some time ago. Sue (If we may be so bold or familiar) is still alive and well and living, as you correctly note, in Seth Efrica. Regards Jeff
