G'box/engine

Post by R.F.Butson » Fri Mar 01, 2002 7:15 am

TA0844 has been standing for 20 odd years, clutch inoperative, no propshaft on car, cannot separate gearbox from engine. Any ideas welcomed...Bob

Same story on TC 0667 when I found it in England after sitting on blocks for 20 years. Try pouring a bottle of vinegar over the clutch/flywheel interface and let it soak overnight. It should come loose after a couple of light taps; be sure to flush the stuff away. Austin
