Mark, I vaguely remember this thread from a couple of years ago and, as always, there were two schools of thought - one for gluing and one for not. I believe the it came down to not gluing because that might cause too much rigidity in the body which was built to flex. I know I didn't glue mine when I rebuilt the tub. Did you know that you can review past messages and search them by subject matter; Just go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mg-tabc ,click on "messages" and type in your subject. I just did that - I then typed in "tub glue" and received this response : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mg-tabc/m ... tub%20glue Try it - You'll like it ! Jim Shade West Covina CA

Well I glued mine, so there...And it has not given any trouble since (12 years). By my way of thinking there is enough flex in the wood itself and not gluing the joints would concentrate the stress on the screws which would eventually, and inevitably, work loose. Ian T. -------------------
