Arnolt heater

Post by peter.dubaldi@ps.net » Mon Dec 03, 2001 8:35 pm

Group, I'm restoring an Arnolt heater that was offered for the T-series MG. Does anyone know if there is a reproduction ARNOLT sticker available? Also, if anyone has a desire for one of these heaters, please email me offline. Thank-you, Peter Dubaldi TC3780

Peter this may or not help you I had a customer years ago who made a tinfoil rubbing of an existing Arnolt emblem from a friends heater and it looked super. Joe Curto

Arnolt heater

Post by Ben Cordsen » Tue Mar 06, 2007 4:27 pm

To all, Does anyone have just the face of an old Arnolt heater they would part with? It could be the stamped one or the cast face, both with the door included. I am trying to complete a setup and find I am missing only that component. I would prefer US locatations, but if the price is right I will import. ARNOLT heater

Post by Ben Cordsen » Tue Jan 19, 2010 6:48 am

To everyone, Recently I was able to purchase some additional ARNOLT heaters and have filled my wait list of heater restorations. Now I find I have one additional heater for sale. These are nice units when properly plumbed and installed, giving good cabin heat to extend the driving season in comfort even with the top down. For those of you who know (and those that do not) I have restored over 100 of these and the Smiths heaters originally sold as an accessory for the t-series cars and other vehicles without factory heaters. I use original heaters, completely strip them to bare metal, re-core the matrix, rebuild the motors and balance the fan, replacing any damaged or missing parts and restore them back to the bronze/gold hammered finish. All accessories are included. Mounting bracket and strut, rheostat, bypass fitting, hoses and clamps, face decal, mounting instructions, etc are with the restoration or if you have these parts you may delete. I usually sell these on ebay. Off ebay will save me almost $50 in listing and final value fees and the savings will be passed on. If you are interested, please reply off list, directly to my email address above.
