The Sacred Octagon

I was just looking at a back issue of the Sacred Octagon (April 99) and noticed that they were advertising reserved copies of the Sacred Octagon from 1964-1999 on a CD-ROM. Was this CD ever made? Gene Gillam

If a CD of the back issues of the "Sacred Octagon" has been made, someone please let me know where to obtain one. It is nice the index is available in the spiral book from the Register, but really frustrating when I cannot find an article because I do not have the issue of the magazine. If this CD has not been made, who could be contacted about the feasibility of doing this? My best to all, Ben Cordsen

Clive: One of the things I could not understand was that that National Geographic Magazine would gladly make the entire 100 plus years of the magazine available to anyone who purchased their CD and the NEMGTR will not make there valuable information available to those who really need it. It's just as easy to photocopy a magazing article as it is to copy the data from a CD. I don't understand why they have this hangup with the CD. Sometimes I wonder why I remain a member of the NEMGTR. We, on this list, disseminate more information in one day then the Sacred Octagon does in a years worth of magazines. Have you considered joining the Octagon Car Club in the UK? You will receive twelve magazines a year with a wealth of knowledge gladly and freely imparted by enthusiasts for enthusiasts domiciled in a country with very little hang-ups about being sued for liability. Remember, the NEMGTR is just a "register" (whatever that means), the Octagon is a club. Geoff Love.
