Esso man

Post by Mark McCombs » Sun Oct 14, 2001 5:07 pm

To our esteemed UK members:
I am looking for one of those keychain type "Esso Man" guys, I think his head looks a bit like an Oil drop.
Does anyone know where one of these could be had, and when they were typically available?
Thanks and Regards,

Mark, I know exactly what you mean, yellow head, white body, on a "linked- ball" chain, approx 2 inches high, very common at autojumbles, would probably cost you more in shipping than to buy, if you wish to pursue it further, contact me off list ps next autojumble 28th October Alan Webster TA 3239

Mark, Remember them well! They were something of a "must have" item back in the early sixties(?), I think. I seem to remember a bloke at the All-British Field Meet in Bellevue, Washington State, had one for sale this year. Good Luck David Lodge Mark McCombs wrote:
