Carlyle, Unless I am mistaken, a TA bonnet for a tickford is different than one for a TA roadster. They are longer by an inch or two. I will do some measuring as years ago, I had a new old stock TA bonnet from Abington Spares (in the '70s) that was too short. I tried it on my TC and it was too narrow. Will do some measuring on my TA Tickford bonnet and send it you like. Cheers, Lee Jacobsen, Dearborn, MI TA 2969 Tickford.

The side panel that takes the most work is the side with the bubble on it. I understand that that bubble is higher on the TA panel than it is on the TC panel. Does that sound correct. Carlyle Merritt

Measure the length of yours and the length from the hynge to the end at both ends. The reason for this is these panels were cut to fit. If the cut is to far off, you will have to add material or re cut to have a proper fit. Thanks, Mike

Carlyle, Thats the main difference. The generators are in different locations on TA engine than on the TB/TC engine. Outside of that, the panels appear identical. I had a TA side panel on my '46 TC when I got it and have purchased a used TC replacement. Neither is on the car now, so weather permitting, I could try and take a couple of pictures and measurements for you. Regards, Charles Hill

Friday the 12th of October I am heading from Mason City to Topeka KA via Kansas City driving to the Mid-West Barbershop Convention - so see I'm not that far away. Carlyle
