Dear Group:
Go with your pocketbook. Remember in the days when TC's were new tires were so expendable many of us carried 2 spares. Tire life is so vastly improved I don't think you need to worry about the Firestones unless you are planning to race. Assuming your wheels are straight (Mine are not) Handling is dependent on the alignment more than the tread pattern.
