Sorry, guys... I left out a dimension... the length of the long part of the crank, from the tip to the centerline of the vertical eccentric arm is 25-1/4", making the overall length 25-1/4" + 4-5/16" = 29-9/16". That, plus 7" for the crank throw means you'll need a hunk of 5/8" rod about 38" long, including the bends, for a start. I'd start at the pin end, filing or grinding the tip down to 5/16" diameter (if you don't have a lathe), put in the hole (7/32"), and bang away. A MAAP gas torch, if you don't have oxyacetylene (like a small propane torch, but hotter gas... hardware store item) will let you make a decent bend. And don't forget the black paint before you wrap it in a Persian rug for proper storage.

TC crank

Hi all, I have several used cranks, all crack tested and with no need to be resurfaced. If there is interest I will go to the basement and measure. Cheers Peter TC 1514 Germany
