HRG Head Wanted

Post by RonMGTC@aol.com » Wed Apr 18, 2001 3:00 am

Now that the TC is almost (famous last words) back on the road I am starting to work on the MGA. I am looking for a HRG head, either an original or B&G reproduction, and/or manifolds to suit weber carbs. I may have some NOS TC bits to TRADE. Thanks Ron

Ron: Regarding your search for suitable manifolding to adapt Webers on your head conversion project, I recommend that you contact Mike Pierce in Gilroy, California (which is located approximately halfway between San Jose and Monterey). He has certainly been most helpful to me by providing an intake manifold on a non-MG project I'm currently working on (which consists of fitting a pair of 40DCOE's to the 1438cc Twin Cam Fiat 124 engine that I have been running in one of my Fiat 850 Spiders). I'm sure that a discussion with him is likely to lead to a satisfactory solution for you, perhaps even a custom made piece. He also supplies linkages and Weber parts. His contact information is as follows. Mike Pierce Pierce Manifolds 321 Kishimura Drive Gilroy, CA 95020 (408) 842-6667 FAX (408) 842-6673 Good luck.
