Hi out there, is the patent plate for the side-screens punched or printed as Moss' replica. Clem

Hello out there, on page 28 of Moss' catalogue of Decals, chassis plates & licence holders for classic cars, there is an illustration of a plate. It is item B200 and appears to be the same size as the adjacent radiator plate. There are 2 holes for fixing and it reads "PATENT No 398110. What is it for and where does it go? Clem

Sorry for the redundancy. Please add to the list of plates to check the Patent plate just below the ID (makers plate) TC1766 - TC3423 1. What is your car number? 2. Do you have the old or new patent plate. The old one has black background with 24 patent numbers. The new one has plated background with 11 patent numbers. Hello Dough A picture of my ID plates: http://www.mgtc.no/gallery070726.htm TC 1087 has a "Made In England" plate. TC 1087 is a 1946, from 10. July, and the plate is original.
