If you remove disks it is quieter and closer to stock jetting. Add disks and it breaths better but it gets louder. I'd put it on. > > > > Messages in this topic (5) > ________________________________________________________________________ > 1b. I run several on my bikes, very dependable and light. Remove disks to get closer to stock jetting and to make it quieter. Add to open things up. > > I'd put it on. > > > > > Messages in this topic (5) > ________________________________________________________________________ > 1c. Not necessarily a fair weather rider. Have ridden in below freezing weather but last night it was 29 degrees and it snowed about 3 inches. My forecast is for low 20's on Friday morning with rain snow mix. Probably will not risk that mess.
Still going to go, even if I have to drive. Have ridden my KLR more than 1000 miles in a day more than once. Rode from home, in Summit County, Ohio to Moab, Utah. It was 42 degrees the morning I left, so I'm no pussy. I'm not stupid either.

Like they say in Ballard "ya sure ya betcha". Poke "DARPA nanodrones" into your favorite search engine and sit down for a long gone link fest.
Years ago I worked on a project that shoveled grasshopper sized nano drones out of the doors of transport aircraft. The drones fluttered to the ground then formed a wireless mesh network that detected and reported "enemy" troop movements.
DARPA has grasshopper sized autonomous flying drones in testing now.

In the movie, there is a camera that is controlled by a cell phone and is about the size of a small bird, there is another camera that is about the size of a beetle. The cameras could fly around and hover. I am not too savvy on spy tech stuff, does that technology really exist? Man, and I thought we had farkle! Any one of you seen the movie, does that technology really exist? I thank you in advance. Eddie (Codename) Agent 00-650
