Install the seat, then lift the rear until the Velcro releases, slide forward and down. Done. I used old Velcro so may have to replace. Some have done some very nice reinforcement of the ear hooks but so far I haven't found it to be necessary. I find that being able to remove the seat easily makes dealing with the side panels easier.
