For normal daily or trail riding, adjusting my Progressive kind of firm worked well, BUT!   When I ALSO LOAD IT DOWN with another 150-200 PLUS? pounds (Camping & Fishing, ETC ETC. gear)   It needs MORE "adjustment", BUT trying to get in there with the tools to tighten more? = HEAD ACHE.   So I just leave it and ride LOW.   Debating going threw ALL THE WORK for changing it, selling the NON-remote adjuster one  o E-bay and installing a remote one.   If you do NOT LOAD IT DOWN with extra gear, the regular Progressive one is fine.
