09 to 07 aftermarket?

Hi all, I haven't read/posted to the KLR list in some time, but I saw this while surfing elsewhere and figured you folks would like to know about it... I have had the engine running and know the guy I bought it from. He said it had no issues. Are you sure that's an '87? I thought the '87 engines had black cases... But, what do I know?
