Cyber Friends,
Today, here in New Orleans, it was a balmy 60 degrees, clear blue skies, low humidity; and, it will be that way for the next several days! Sure, New Orleans is a corrupt, crime ridden utopia, but, this time of year is perfect for riding. So what if our former Mayor got hit with 21 Federal Incitements for corruption............... he didn't have a KLR, so who cares. Tomorrow, I'll be on a longer ride than today, my battery needs the charge.

SPOOF ALERT Recently, It was reported the Mayor of New Orleans was indicted for putting out a hit on free-living cyber KLR-riding wx repeorter, aka Tall-Tales Eddie because his stories of utopic riding conditions induced cronic depression on those KLR riders located above 40N. The net effect of his bogus reporting is that the earth has swallowed up the KLR's located 40N for an additional 90 days. at a minimum. No, correction: Not swallowed, buried. To ensure that this would happen, the wx forcast to be 18F and snow for tomorrow, temporaily affecting internet sales at Arrowhead Sports; AKA Fred's. sigh. revmaaatin. who winterized the beloved pig-pen bone crushers yesterday. p.s. don't show your face N of 40N! ...at least without grip heaters.> > Cyber Friends, > > Today, here in New Orleans, it was a balmy 60 degrees, clear blue skies, low humidity; and, it will be that way for the next several days! I went on a 100 mile ride yesterday on my Concours and a 50 mile ride on my KLR. Not a cloud in the sky and 65 deegrees. The Versys may get a workout this morning. Sometimes winter in Texas is heaven. August is always Hell in Texas (except early morning). But occasional frozen stuff coating the roads does create havoc (and worse). A lady that beings to an org I participate with lost her life a week or so ago sliding headon into another car driving of the frozen stuff.

Unlike Calif and some other states, one can convert and register any bike to be street legal. Once having a Nevada street legal title one might be able to transfer to another state, but not in Calif who just started enforcing keeping only factory exhaust components on 2013 and newer bikes. It might quieter in that state. Mark in Nevada
