New to the group, getting back into the off pavement riding after taking a 35is year break. I started riding back in the early 70's on a Honda ST90, rode Elsinore's and Twinstars among others. Moved onto the pavement in the early 80s with an '83 Honda CB650SC (Nighthawk) Have owned a number of bikes over the years, standards, cruisers, touring, etc. I purchased a Suzuki V-Strom (DL650) a couple of months ago and ended up riding it on forest service fire roads and light trails. Remembered how much I liked that sort of stuff... SO, I picked up a 2003 KLR650 a month ago and have been having a blast playing in the dirt. Am going to sell the V-Strom...
