I know its too late to save the nut but ALWAYS loosen your triple clamps first, if you haven't. The clamps will deform your fork just enough to make things too tight. Good luck. Greg

Fork locks, lock through wheel, covered, two well placed skate boards and your bike is merely a memory. Chained to a post with top quality chain and lock then covered is about as good as it gets. Short of the Scorpio alarm system I put on my A-16 that is. But that has it's drawbacks also.
