[dsn_klr650] another kind of leak
All KLR petcocks are rebuildable and yes, I do have the kit.

Some petcocks are rebuildable. Some are not. Either way, the tank would have to come off the bike and be drained in order to remove the valve and see. In the odd instance there's just a piece of gunk stuck in the o-ring of the plunger inside, you'd sort of be lucky. Cleaning the petcock would fix the leak. Then you'd have to figure out how the gunk got there in the 1st place (rusty/dirty tank??)
Arrowhead Fred, do you carry a rebuild kit or know of one (K&L, etc...) ? If not a new assembly is in order. eddie

I've got some motorcycle-related accessories for auction on eBay. They end Sunday, and I think they're all still around $0.99.
