62 year old 218 lbs. six foot 3 inch Californian, just purchased a new 2009 KLR 650 - added a tall windscreen and gas, ready to go anywhere.  Had a new KLR 650 in 2002 (ugly green color) and loved it, what a great bike for the  buck!!!! Rock solid dependable, nice complement with my BMW R1200RT. Feel I have the best of both worlds covered.
