'oil 'weight' error - a problem ?

I stumbled across these by accident.  Luggage trunks are 1/2 price GIVI Style for $32.49 and $42.49 at Sears on their web site.  These come with the mounting plate also.  Yea, thats right Sears.  No, I didn't know they sold these either.    Go to "sears.com"  in the search section, type in "motorcycle luggage trunk" and they will come up.    Thought this was such a good deal, that it needed to be passed on.

I have an identical one (this GIVI looking style on my Transalp.  I have the JC Whiney more boxy/square one on my KLR650.  The JC Whitney square one feels much more secure.  I think it is due to the cheap mounting plate on the GIVI look alike like this one at Sears.  If you read the Sears one it does say an improved mounting plate system so I am assuming this is better than the older style.  I figured for this price it would be worth a try and hopefully the mounting system really is improved.  Can't go wrong at this price.  If I needed one I would buy one but thought it ought to be brought to the list if somebody is interested.

~~~If these are the same as the Givi knock offs sold under the Bestum label, they're not all that bad. I have a friend who has the Bestum trunk, looks identical to the 46 litre Givi trunk I had on a few different bikes.
