It was my bad, I should have used the beer crate. That makes perfect sense to me now that I hear it said. http://www.motorsportproducts.com/prod_info.php?prd=p-12&clr=org&cat=std#str Last night I put the wimpy little "big box mart" jack under the crasah bar and jacked, put the wimpy little "big box mart" jack stands under the crash bar ends, moved jack and repeated until it was high enough to slide the now repaired shop stand under it. Front wheel is back on and I rode to work today. Tonight I will drink a few Newcastle Brown Ales while I contemplate the error of my ways. I will also contemplate how to sraighten the inside of the aluminum pannier out. I may give it a beer too. It earned one when it kept the bike from squishing me.
