Stock. If you want it to sound like a Harley you can just remove the muffler.

#ygrps-yiv-1089320679 p {margin:0;}Ahmad, That depends on what your definition of "best" is.  I find that removing the tweety and replacing it with a 2" exit pipe gives a good sound and a little bit more "grunt".  Total cost is about 30 bucks. To me, the cost/benefit can't be beat. -Jeff Khoury

#ygrps-yiv-1861996142 p {margin:0;}   Funny Jeff should mention this. I ordered a 2" turned down exhaust tip from HMF racing only a few hours ago.     $20 for the tip. +$5 for black color (standard aluminum is no extra charge. Can be had in red, black, blue or gold.) +$7 standard UPS shipping. ----------- $32   Sure beats gambling on a $$$ slip-on muffler or full system!   eddie

Simple answer - stock, with the "tweety" removed. No rejetting or expensive parts, and the weight savings doesn't matter much in a weak bike like the KLR. -----Original Message----- From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of ahmad may i ask what is the best exhaust system for klr 650 model 2010,thanks alot :)

#ygrps-yiv-1328144532 p {margin:0;}I am having excellent results with this combination: Tweetyectomy $0.22 mod (1 shim) Slide Drill Idle Mixture Adjust Airbox "L" mod De-Californicated It really gives the bike a lot more "snap" and low-end.  Top-end I don't really care about because the geometry of the bike is not really suited to going much faster than it does stock. -Jeff Khoury

The 650 will only produce so much power and upgrading only the exhaust will not increase the power equal to the cash layout. Short answer. If this KLR is new to you (2010 right) Ride it for a year. The best first mod is the pink slip. Is it paid off? And more time in the saddle will let you determine what mods are the best for you. Ride and enjoy it.

#ygrps-yiv-350636637 p {margin:0;}I didn't measure the shims... I went to B&B hardware in Culver City and bought some #4 brass washers.  Figured they were close enough. -Jeff Khoury
