Greetings, listers With great sadness I must announce the offering of my beloved 1983 Suzuki GS1100E for sale. The bike is located in Pasadena, CA. The bike is in great shape cosmetically, but has a bit of a mechanical issue, and since I'm moving across the country (vertically) and starting down a new path, I won't really have time to work on it. Asking $1500, other offers gladly accepted. Here are the details: - Hi-res photo at http://bigcee.com/ebay/suzuki.jpg - 43,700 miles - Includes both custom gunslinger seat (in photo), plus stock seat with recently installed Travelcade cover. (Installed by a real upholstery shop.) - About 8k miles ago: Bored 0.5 mm over, installed new pistons and rings, lapped valves, installed new valve seals - 2k miles ago: New rotor, stator, starter clutch, rebuild forks - Works Performance shocks - Copy of factory service manual - Accel coils - Fell over while parked once, have replacement medallion for left engine cover - Cafe-style handlebars The bothersome part: Has started making a bit of a rattle and vibration in the bottom end. Can also be hard to start at first; engine sometimes seems to hang up starter, but will start after a few tries. Will also need a new battery; I left it sitting for a while, and the trickle charger didn't bring it back to life.
