Lilman, I'm running the Pelican bags with SW Motec mounts from Twisted Throttle. I like them very much. I can see how you could end up with a broken ankle or leg if it caught under the bag while the bike was moving.

Halogen Infared Reflecting (I had to Google it !) Wow...sounds very hi-tech and I suppose they are...
Any relevant parts numbers and possible sources...
