first of the year ride

Hello from a very cold and snowy northern Michigan! The start of the Pan Am Dakar rally is tomorrow. (Yeah to VS TV for covering it starting Sunday!) So I have been wondering if one or more KLR-650s have ever run the rally and how well it/they placed. Anybody out there know? Best Regards, Ed and Judy
