something to keep the klr up during the winter.

Gak, I don't see the KLR surviving long with that lunk of steel strapped on. More importantly I don't think your bike will run with it attached. I think it will be too ashamed to be seen in public and will thus simply refuse to run! http://www.mtcvoyager.com/voyager_standard.html> http://www.mtcvoyager.com/voyager_standard.html That site above turns a lot of motorcycles into trikes for $ 4,000.00 plus. Now here is what I am thinking about http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_7262_726 2> http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_7262_7262 That company has a trailer that you put together and cost with shipping would be about $ 260. bucks. If you took off the trailer tounge and and added some braces that would attach near the passenger pegs and to the front of the frame do you think it would work for short trips around town and a 2 mile trip to work. Those wheels on the trailer are for high speed. Tom SW Pennsylvania [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Black tape over it. Don't know cause mine does the same ..... for a couple of years. Criswell (no electrical genius still trying to figure out the light bulb.)

<><><><><><> <><><><><><> rallyrabbit, You don't say which year bike and I'm not familiar with the post 2007 models. But I'll guess for this purpose they are the same as the earlier bikes. I think I'd try disconnecting the green wire from the neutral switch just in front of and below the front sprocket. See if that makes a difference. If it turns off the light then I think the problem is with either the switch or inside the engine. If the light remains on then the problem is with the wiring. Let us know what you find. When the transmission is in neutral, there is a small sensor that provide a ground to the lamp circuit and causes the bulb to light. The pickup sensor is behind the sprocket cover, and the wire lead to this is the light green single wire there (the stator and ignition trigger wires also come up from behind the sprocket cover). So, if the neutral light is coming on when the bike is not in neutral, its most likely because that light green wire is grounding out somewhere along its path. Best places to check would be behind the sprocket cover, and under the tank where wires are sometimes crimped or chaffed. Thats all I gots.
