93 klr650 vs. 92 klr 650 gas tank.

Post by vtville » Mon Aug 18, 2008 3:10 pm

Does anyone know if the stock gas tank from a 92 KLR is the same as the 93 KLR. IE: Will a 92 tank fit on my 93 KLR? thanks much

carb diagram - any available

Thank you all for the replies on the 'choke' Don't like to go messing with things without knowing what's hidden behind them. The enricher is simpler than I thought, the cable has gotten gumped up and I didn't want to squirt a load of cable lube into the carb. Thanks again for the many responses! Don M

The cable is released from the carb by unscrewing the black plastic section from the left side of the carb....have a great day ...Greg http://members.aol.com/roundr1/CVK40.html --- On Sun, 8/17/08, KLRDON wrote: From: KLRDON Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Carb diagram - any available To: "DSN_KLR650@yahoogro" DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Received: Sunday, August 17, 2008, 9:13 PM Is there an exploded diagram around for the KLR's carb, the manual is very sketchy. Specifically, how do I get the choke cable out of the carb?
