What is the collective wisdom on who offers the best for the buck lowerirng link kit? Mine is an 08, I don't find the 08 on the Twisted Throttle page. I have found them from $19 buck on Ebay to $84 bucks..

08 lowering link kit
I got mine from TPI... can't give you a comparison to anyone else,
but they seem to be quality links and I've had no problems with them.
I think they're actually Eagle Mike's. The reason I went with TPI is
that they were the only ones I found that also had a lowered
kickstand. IMO, the lowered stand isn't quite low enough. I'm
probably going to take the stock stand and have someone cut it and
weld about 1/2" shorter than the lowered stand.

If you don't already have one, get a magnetic drain plug while you're
there... it's cheap insurance.

klr sighting
So, I was sitting at work dividing my attention between the show I was running and the
"Buddy" screen from Nascar.com on my computer watching four different camera shots of the
race at Infineon Raceway, Sonoma and, all of a sudden I spot a line of motorcycles crossing
the track before the race started. One of them was definitely a green ('00-'02) KLR!
Any of you left-coasters attending the race get to ride the track?
