If you are fortunate to have a good weld on your stock lever, it should outlast the bike. You can ensure a good weld by re-welding it. You could weld a washer on the back of the lever to protect the case, I suppose, but I have bent and re-straightened my lever a couple of times without more than nicking the case. My aftermarket lever is slowly rusting in a tank pannier, waiting for six years for the stock one to break.> > The Dual Star seems splines seem to get loose. newbie - what is a dohickey?
Hello there. Newbie considering KL650 - Please go easy on me for this
question.
What is a Dohickey? I understand what the word means (From
freedcitionary - something unspecified whose name is either forgotten
or not known).
I am trying to understand, what this means in KLR650 world?
