Does anyone know of any good Communications devices that would allow
you to bring in your ipod, cell phone, ham radio in; which could be
put in a tank bag, but is wireless to helmet setup?

Zumo550 with a Nolan N-Com helmet, that'll take care of everything, cept maybe a ham radio?? Where do you mount the 40 foot tall ham
radio antenna on a KLR?(joking) Also, you would just put all your ipod music in the Zumo, one less thing to carry.

It's my 1st KLR and I'm fully aware of the problem.I do not have the
tools and for sure not the expertise to replace it.I will purchase the
parts, and tools if necessary,to fix this problem that doesn't
exist,according to Kawasaki.
I'm moving to Mexico in April and I'd sure enjoy the peace of mind
knowing it's done.
Thanks

I don't know if I would put that stuff in a tank bag. I'd wear it in
my riding jacket as I do with my i pod and cell phone. I never have
owned a ham radio so don't know how big they are or how vibration
might affect them.
