ride a slow bike fast

I am with you too. I had a Honda Ascot VT 500 that I used to ride on Hwy 33 out of Ojai, Ca. where I used to live. 45 miles of awsome twisties. Thought I was pretty fast till I tried to run with Reg Pridmore down the hill one day. On rides to follow Reg showed me how to ride a slow bike fast. I know he wasen't ringing it out, but, I could keep up with him and the rest of the group. I have kept that with me for many years now. Not to many of my friends can keep up with me on any bike of theirs when I am on my old 96 KLR. BTW I use Pirellie MT 90's. Cheers, Dave T. around 110mph. Plenty fast for me, and with the right rider it will give the sportbikes a run for their money in the twisties. Won't stay ahead of them on the straights.
