getting kawasaki parts?

Post by Forrest » Sun Jul 15, 2007 2:52 pm

Anybody know a way to expedite parts from Kawasaki. I had a mishap on my KLR that, amongst other things, bent the subframe. Insurance is paying so all the necessary parts have been ordered from the OEM and all have been received except the subframe which is on the dreaded, "back order". I'd like to be riding during these glorious summer months. Forrest

Hello, I'd like to trade my '00 Kawasaki ZR750 for an adventure/DP type of bike. I bought my ZR-7 new in 2000 and put about 12K miles on it. It has a Corbin seat, Holeshot jet kit, Micron exhaust can, EBC brake pads, SS front brake lines, new Dunlop D220 tires and a small windsheild. A ZR-7 like this puts about 70 HP to the rear wheel. I'm in the process of getting a front fork seal replace because one of them is leaking fluid. My garage has three dirt quads and another street bike so I need an adventure touring type of bike. A nicely modified newer KLR or...might do the trick. I'm located in So. Cal and looking for the same location. Here's link to my bike: http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z...urrent=ZR7.jpg Thanks, Philip pdarnall at yahoo dot com
