tire change and !@#!@# pinched tube

I dumped my 06 KLR in a field on wet grass 7 weeks ago. I guess I was getting on it a little much and broke my wrist. I only broke the left rear turn signal and the rad. cover. I am just now able to squeeze the clutch to ride again and I found the handle bars are twisted. I have the manual and supplement for the 06 but it doesn't say how to adjust the forks and bars. I looked it over pretty good and I see nothing bent. I think I need to loosen the bolts on the forks and adjust them that way. I can't find anything on a procedure for that and I assume it's important to keep the forks the same height. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Thanks! That was good. There's NO way that the Cheng Shin tire was as easy to mount as what he shows in the video. Anyway, the tire is on. It's wider than the stock tire - was rubbing a little bit on the lower edge of the chain guard. I simply moved the tab that holds it in place closer to the chain. Road report to follow in a couple of days.
